As the representatives in the State of Florida for the Vetrotech unit of Saint-Gobain, we can offer you a variety of products and systems from one of the largest global manufacturers. Vetrotech Saint-Gobain North America  (VSGNA) is an operating unitof the Compaigne de Saint-Gobain Group, a manufacturer with over four centuries of manufacturing experience in glass products, with multiple manufacturing and fabrication facilities, and extensive technical expertise. The fire rated division began in the mid-1970's with development in intumescent and other products, and the technology was introduced to North America in the early 1980's with the Pyroswiss and Contraflam product segments. Available via a wholesale distributor during that decade and into the late 1990's, a commitment was made to introduce production and fabricating facilities to better serve the market. This was accomplished by establishing a direct sales and marketing unit in early 2000 in North America, and in 2003 with a fabrication facility in Seattle, WA. Currently select frabricators have been qualified to fabricate the Keralite line of ceramic products at locations closer to customers allowing for ordering and delivery in days, at competitive prices. In addition product research, development and introduction allow for more options, simpler solutions meeting design aesthetic and performance needs meeting Code and industry needs. In Florida, VSG has authorized RF Supply Incorporated of Bradenton to fabricate the Keralite line of ceramics, and they are currently carrying the Keralite FR-R, FR-F and FR-L in stock sheet sizes to better serve our customers with this popular product. This allows for a typical delivery time of orders in 4 to 6 working days, including transit time to all Florida locations without premium delivery costs. In addition we have improved engineering and fabrication lead-times for our other products, which include door and framing systems with rating of up to 3 hours, all carrying UL labeling. In this section we will give you an overview of select glazing products available from VSG. These include: Pyroswiss - a super tempered product with rating of 20 minutes Keralite FR - a good quality ceramic product with high optical values with ratings from 20 minutes to 3 hours; the -R version is an annealed product; the -F version is a safety glazing product with an applied 3M super tough film; the -L version is a safety glazing product achieved by lamination of two pieces of ceramic product. Swissflam- an intumescent product available in interior and exterior versions, the product is made up of panes of clear laminated glass with a central core of a clear intumescent gel, allowing ratings from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Select versions are available for specialized applications including hurricane impact ratings. Contraflam- an intumescent product available in interior and exterior versions, the product is made up in panels of clear tempered glass with a central core of a clear intumescent gel, allowing ratings from 1 to 3 hours (the latter is available as part of special system only). Select versions are available for specialized applications. Keralite FR-Ultra - an intumescent product designed for exterior use, this glazing also meets fire, smoke, temperature rise and complies with safety glazing requirements.  Hurricane Option - The Hurricane rated option is currently available in our Contraflam and Keralite FR-Ultra products, and is UL listed for use in doors and select sidleight applications which carry both fire and hurricane impact ratings. It can be used in any such listed doors and framing, allowing use with various listed manufacturers.
